Well, I was just on EzyDVD.com.au, and I saw a limited edition, two-disc Serenity deal with the Collectors Tin for $14.92 plus $1.50 postage.

Naturally, I bought it, cos COLLECTORS TIN!! Although it kind of makes the single-disc copy I've already got superfluous.

Just thought you might like to know in case you want your own special edition collectors tin Serenity for an extremely good price.

Also, any suggestions on what I should do with my extra copy?

I bought a copy from them as well, even though I'm in the US (software can handle that pesky region coding!) because of the extended scenes that weren't on the US single-disc version. And the Aussie cover is so much cooler than the US cover!

Your extra copy will be perfect for lending out to the unwashed masses, thus converting them into rabid Browncoats.

You're just tormenting me now aren't you? This whole limited edition tin only being available overseas thing has really gotten me worked up lately. I'm not just referring to Serenity.

You can always just buy it for the tin, even if you don't need/can't play the dvd cos of regional coding.

You could also talk to DarkJester about that 'pesky regional coding' and the software that can fix it.

Of course I am very sleepy and might have just not noticed it as I wizzed through the thread - but it can't hurt!!

Now my other copy can be my loan copy!!

Hey Singate and others interested, I just did a quick run on the currency conversion chart, and even with the $9.50 international shipping fee that comes with this, in American currency it works out to less than $20 anyway. Just thought you mighlt like to know if you really do want the tin.

Also, DarkJester mentioned something about software that could help you get around the area coding thing, so if you wanted to buy it, I don't think it would be completely pointless. I mean, COLLECTORS TIN!!

It says stocks are limited though, so no guarantees people.

They must have a whole hell of a lot of stock, because I bought the Collectors Tin DVD with the Two Disk DVD ages ago when Serenity first became available in Oz.

EzyDVD also has a Collector's Tin for Firefly, and it's so shiny (pun totally intended), it's even better than the Serenity Tin, because it has a few little touches.
