Was the actor who played the patron of the town the same one who played the Phoenix agent on John Doe? They look very much alike.

I have no idea who the long-haired old guy is, but he is the same guy as the deaf guy on "John Doe".

They can have my "Firefly" DVDs when they pry them from my cold, dead fingers....

The first time I saw Joan of Arcadia, I thought that Joan's father was Simon's father.

Turns out he wasn't, but the resemblance there is uncanny.....

*OK, now I remember. Thanks Deckroid. I'm still pissed off for them cancelling John Doe. At first, I was actually more into that show than Firefly.

Damn Fox.

No power in the 'verse....

Really. I don't think the guy who played Simon's father looked like Joe Mantegna that much. I still see Joe Mantegna in "Airheads" with that afro...

He wasn't deaf though. I assume you didn't see the last couple of episodes of Jonh Doe since you didn't know that.

Oh, and play Cantr II at www.cantr.net.

I'm sure it's the same guy. If two people look like that we're in trouble.

Nope. I missed the last couple of episodes, but I did see the very end of the season finale/ending episode with Digger climbing out of the manhole. Typical Fox scheduling

Well, you find out he wasn't deaf but he was faking it.

Oh, and play Cantr II at www.cantr.net.

Yeah, talk about a cliff hanger. Digger seems to have some similarities to Book in Firefly. Would we have seen Book eventually turn out to be a cleverly disguised villian?

You want to meet the real me ?

Actually that is an interesting point. Thinking back to John Doe, it could be true.
