This drive benefits Fringe Theatre Adventures (FTA), a non-profit organization in Mr. Fillion's hometown of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. FTA provides valuable opportunities for emerging actors while aiming to diversify and expand the theatrical audience.

Prior to landing his first big role, Mr. Fillion gained acting experience at the Chinook Theatre (now FTA), and has since returned to FTA's Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival to perform with the improv group to which he once belonged.

The goal of this drive is to support the unique services that FTA provides for the community of Edmonton, and to show our appreciation for the role the Fringe Festival has played in nurturing the talent of so many artists, in particular Nathan Fillion.

Let's celebrate Nathan Fillion's birthday, and Keep the Fringe Flyin'!
