Quote: To Whom it may concern; Please pardon any presumption which this note may represent. I wanted to drop a note to show my appreciation and admiration and downright delight that Universal Pictures has seen fit to give Joss Whedon's "Firefly" a chance to fly again. I see that the title, "Serenity" appears on the "Coming Soon" portion of your site. This truly marvelous development has given me hope that Mr. Whedon's entertaining, insightful, and moving tales will have a chance to come to the fruition which they could not find on the Fox network. Universal Pictures deserves great praise for having the vision to acquire this property and develop it as it deserves. Rest assured that the long-hoping fans of "Firefly" will act with a vigor and enthusiasm which even the most highly-paid marketing staff would be hard-pressed to match! I for one (and I am quite certain that I am not alone in this) will do all in my power to make sure that this film will be a success, and will reward the faith which you have put in Joss Whedon and in the cast and crew. All who were involved in the making of this show have said repeatedly that they were aware of being part of something truly special. For the part that Universal Pictures has played in reuniting them with each other and with their fans, I am truly grateful! I look forward to expressing that gratitude at the theater, and to doing all that I can to make sure as many people as I can reach will be there with me to share it! Most sincerely;
