How to make Fan Videos????

I would like to pull clips from the DVDs and make music videos, as well as pull audio from the DVD to make the Ballad of Serenity longer.

Does anyone know what software I can use to do this??

Adobe are usually good bets if u dont mind paying... :P

But Windows XP Movie Maker is also very good considering its free and is actually sufficient for all but the highest of quality vids

try that first :) thats what im using

Firefly + RedHotChiliPeppers = COOL MUSIC VID :D

dvd shrink to pull clips plus Alive dvd ripper to convert to a format you can use with movie maker. Both free downloads but read the conditions. I paid for Pinnacle Studio

i tried ms movie maker, but let me guess , i need to have a video card that has video input? hehe

cause it tells me disk is procteted??
