I found an interesting poll on the SciFi channel Firefly board:

Seems the Browncoats are voicing their opinions the loudest. I voted for a second season of Firefly. To be honest though, wouldnt mind also seeing a second season of Surface, B5 movie, and another Serenity movie.

I voted, too! Though a second Serenity movie would be nice, I think the stories would be better told as a series.

I voted as well! And I agree with all y'all about the other options, the stories told better in a series and especially that Wash and Book would continue to live. Nearly jumped outa my chair in shock when I watched Serenity for the first time and found out Wash didn't make it. My brother lent it to me and was watching me watch it and at that part (as well as a few others) I whipped round to look at him and asked 'WHY! WHY!' He told me to just keep watching. Turd. We had an intense conversation about it after the movie.
