I'm still tryin' to grasp the attraction to certain types.
I love a woman who can sing. She can be good or mediocre. As long as she is confident enough to sing in front of me.
Oh. I just answered my own question.

Hmm. So anyways, we saw 23 last night. Outstanding. Jim Carrey in a role where his charecter's comedy is merely a nervous reaction and really is not that funny. A realistic setting that turns surreal with the perception change of the character. And a modern noir story within a story.

Used it to gear up for 300 this weekend. I'm hopin' it ain't as good as everyone says. Don't know if I can handle another year of movies following two great ones. The last year really sucked following Slither and V For Vendetta.

I go to the dentist and I'm numb all day. I had my wisdom teeth out and they put me on a reduced dose of knockout drugs, and I was totally out the whole time. It was like no time passed at all between the needle entering my arm and coming out of it. One Aleve lasts me all day unless I am in serious pain. My mom gets ill if she has more than one glass of alchohol. So aside from just not liking it, I DO NOT want to know what would happen to me if I drank very much of it. Or had anything else, for that matter.
This is just one of the reasons I have for being straight-edge. And it's probably the reason that will keep me straight-edge.

Fortunately, the big upside of my straight-edge-ness is that I don't really hang out in bars where such things as druggings might be a risk. And the few times I have gone to clubs I was very paranoid.

Oh, I appreciate that I'm cared about (from afar) I was just assuring you that I am, sadly, all too aware that there are bad people in the world and that I do all in my power to avoid them. I've been struck the occasional glancing blow by life, but I've kept myself out of major trauma. Many of my friends (past and present) have not been so lucky. (Yes, sometimes it was just bad luck. Though sometimes it was them being stupid. Or some combination of the two. Even being slightly foolish and having bad luck at the same time will lead to bad things happening.) Anyway. I'll be careful.
Though it could be said that talking about anything and everything to people on the internet isn't wise...

I'm almost tempted to try for some dark, brooding pictures of myself. But I don't think I could carry it off.

I take them. Cara took a few of the early ones before I figured out the self timer, but all others have been taken by me. My mom, even though she has a picture of me on her very own website, would question why I wanted so many, and it's usually difficult to explain a vision to someone else. And there have been a few...
