Also one of Joss's favorites. Kristin from EOnline posted that she'd heard from 6 reliable sources that the show will be cancelled. Apparently she was misguided, and the final nail has not been inserted quite yet. Series creator Rob Thomas has presented an idea to move the series ahead 4 years when Veronica is an FBI agent. If it works, it's unlikely that the rest of the cast would join her in the fourth season.

oh CW what have you done to Veronica Mars? Why do networks feel like they need to play Dr. Frankenstein with their shows. Either pick it up the way it is or leave it be.

They messed with Season 3 and look what that did to the show. Now they want to mess with Season 4 even more? There's no way it will survive a time jump. Not when you lose all the characters we've come to know and love.

I guess I wouldn't hate the idea. If it works and the show continues, I'd rather it change than be gone forever. Yes, it sucks that we might lose other characters, but look at how little they're used right now. If the show changes, it's even better for the regular cast because they can be free to pursue other types of work and actually GET to work. It's not like it's out of the realm of possibility that they'll visit down the line.

I watched Season 1 on DVD and liked it. I haven't gotten around to Season 2 yet -- is the ending of Season 2 satisfying? I'd hate to pick it up again just to be disappointed if it goes off in all sorts of random directions or ends on big cliffhangers.

I don't think Season 2 was as good as 1 but definitely worth watching. Like season 1 it had an over-arching plot which was pretty well wrapped up by the end.

Season 3 has been watchable but not that thrilling. They've moved somewhat away from the over-arching thing towards shorter mysteries that are solved over a few episodes. Sadly, I probably won't miss it too much if it gets cancelled now.

That sucks. I like this show. The first season was fantastic. I missed most of the 2nd and got back into it halfway through the third. Knowing it might be canceled makes my crappy week even more depressing.

I liked the 1st season slightly more overall than the second, but the conclusion of S2 was a lot more shocking. 1st season's conclusion was good, but the killer-reveal itself was anti-climatic.

I agree that Season 3 hasn't been as exciting, but I still didn't hate it (I was stumped on the rapist, but figured out the dean's killer before Veronica, which was a first). I'm glad Rob Thomas is willing to tinker with the concept in order to keep flying. The main thing I did hate though was seeing even less of the supporting cast. Since they were all still regulars, I kept expecting to see them more often, which made me miss them all the more. If they are dropped to recurring or guest star status, it'll be easier to accept them being gone a lot, 'cuz you're prepared.

FutureMrsFillion: It's my fave show too. Equal to LOST, though.

No CJ, you and CC are not the only ones. Frankly I don't see the appeal, for this show or Arrested Development. Even Dead Like Me can be a bit much sometimes. It's like they're trying TOO hard to be witty and clever. Maybe that's why I love Heroes, it is witty at times but it makes fun of itself and there's plenty of action. Not to mention lots of pretties to look at.

WOW! If it gets cancelled I will seriously be so mad 'cause I watched the first 2 (working on the 3'rd) seasons after seeing a post on here about Joss and Kevin Smith both liking the show. I will be so amazingly mad if it gets cancelled right as
