I couldn't help it. Besides you said you didn't want to be ignored.

Heheee...my co-workers are wondering why I'm snickering to myself.

Odds: couldn't agree more. I had to be very careful about my comments when my grandmother was dying. Some folks would've thought I was a cold, callous wench. But really, I loved the old bad and it was hard to see her go.

Hehe, posted while I was writing the post Zeek, I giggled ^^

Had the same thing Rugbug, on a few occasions, one thing I do remember is my little brother asking me 'Didn't you cry Sam? None of us saw you crying.' Which I found tricky to answer. How do you explain 'sure I cry, but, the jokes help me more.' To a 12 year old =S

Ack, morbid and creepifying, and totally derailed, the subject is inappropriate sens's of humour, 'Who do you offend with yours?'

depending on the day virtually everyone...see black humor is my thing and I spend an inordinate amount of time around cops and the like ( nobody does black humor like cops at a crime scene) so I tend to just keep it to myself or a select group of friends...which is how I know they're my friends.
For example Friday when we were discussing the use of a handkerchief and as we were listing I said wipe prints off a murder weapon, without pause my friend says, yeah but not blood 'cause blood is all sticky, and then we continued with :clean an apple, dust off car dashboard etc.. ( this is only a vaguely upsetting example as my more cold hearted one would likely make you all look at me funny and think bad things so I'll keep that in my own head:)

Anyway , I must be going now...goodbye Rabbit ( sorry for those of you who don't read Winnie the Pooh that made no sense)
I have to go get make-up for the school play, and go tutor:) Have a great rest of the day and big HUGS to you all

RUGBUG- I miss you when you aren't here...no one else wants to talk about horses. Oh and good luck on the shining up of the horsies for their big day! Also any suggestions on locating a bit for a Clydesdale mix??? Can't find one wide enough.

Ah dear, dear girl...those are definitely the magic words.

Check out: http://www.drafttack.com/draftbits.html for drafty bits. They seem to come in 6-7" mouths with a variety of rings. Don't know if you're looking for western or english bits, but that might be a place to start.

I miss you all when I'm not here. Work needs to stop being so...workful.

Religious types used to be my specialty in high school. This coming from a guy who still goes to church every week.

So, my aunt ran the youth group at my church growing up. So, I was going to be a member whether I wanted to or not. It was a fun group though. So, I didn't really mind. However, my aunt did not get my sense of humor. Neither did one of my adult group leaders. I was a teen leader eventually which meant every week me and a couple other teen leaders helped lead a group at an adult leader's house. Well apparently I made her cry cause she thought she lead the most disfunctional group in the whole youth group. Apparently she didn't realize that all of our joking was friendly. Neither did my aunt. She told my mom that my humor puts people down too much.

I don't know how they dealt kept their view and somehow rationalized that I hung out with all the people I was apparently putting down. It was also baffling because I learned that behavior from her daughter. She's my favorite cousin cause we're always messing with each other.

These days you can pretty well judge whether or not I consider you a friend by how much I joke around with you.

HK! {{Hugs}}

There was a post from forever ago from you that I never responded to. It was before my recent little vacation, you said something about wondering if you and I are actually the same person. It stuck in my mind because, if I remember correctly, it was about 85 and sunny here in southern California (I read it right after coming back from some swimmin' and sunnin'), whereas you had a couple feet of snow out in your neck of the woods. Totally cracked me up at the time.

And for the record, you have waaaaaay better clothes. And better pictures. And get to wear a lab coat to work (I think?). But other than that...

I still think we may be. Or maybe you're my long, lost sister that my mom never told me about! Hmmmm....

Really, I just seem to recognise a lot of your words and sentiments as things I would echo.

Bah! The only one I'll agree with you on is the lab coat - it's way too big for me and it rawks!!

I'm glad you're here.

MAVOURNEEN

Morning, cooler-types!

Not much to report, except I ran out of creamer this morning. I forgot to get some at the store last night.

Tidbit & I enjoyed the new Modest Mouse song "Dashboard" on the ride to school this morning. He told me he loved it - I think he's turning away from his father's evil country influence! Yay!

And just in case you thought he'd gone away...

He knows what you are doing...

EDIT: Regarding yesterday...

I admit a sin of omission. I didn't comment on PhoenixRose's anger over Zeek's comment, and it was cowardly of me.
Zeek, though you don't see the harm in what you said, I believe an apology for hurting someone's feelings is in order. Her upset is real, it is tangible, and something you posted is responsible.
I also felt that yesterday people were too careless with Rose's view on this. We should have respected her more. My disrespect came when I didn't post something along these lines. But I also see other's postings on their views as legitimate. But it is between PR & Zeek.

Yeppers, RIMG gives some good, solid man-hugs. I am sure he reserves his best for the women-folk, though.

Yeah. No offense to you or Zeph, but sister probably got the best jimi-hugs that weekend.

Glad that you like the uniforms, Tristan did an amazing job on them.
The hugs, should we ever meet, are always given freely and frequently.

Are the pictures you have posted deceptive, because you seem plenty tall in them (at least average height if nothing more) ???

OK last time on this one. I don't give fake apologies. PR upset herself. She read something that wasn't there and I tried to explain what I really meant multiple times. I've done everything I can do. I think once she cools down she'll see things more clearly. I didn't see anyone disrespect her at all. If she wants to talk it over more, I read my PMs and I read most of the thread.
