Any David Gemmell readers here??

Just wondering if any of you Firefly fans read David Gemmell books? He is my fav author of all time and in many ways reminds me of Joss' writing style.

David and Joss both base their books around strong chars and emotive dialogue. They are the sort of writers that get you heavily involved emotionally and you end up pumping your fist in the air and the like.

I also love the way they both create complex heroes that have as many flaws as they have redeeming qualities. I guess its nice to know that you dont have to be a perfect person to be a hero, you just have to make a right decision at the right time...I guess its called it redemption.

David passed away last year and it had a very dramatic effect on me, such a huge loss. In many ways writers like these fill the gaps in my life and my world would be the less if they didnt do their thing.
