Hey all...can I get a martini???

Well that went well (sarcasm!)
Halfway through the day of having two classes, another teacher got stuck while doing an errand. Since her kids are the extreme and severe behavior kids, I am the only one qualified to have them so they got sent in too...so then I had 3 classes ( including the ones that are so severe they all have parole officers and a variety of other legal restraints) so during a 5 min passing period ( when the kids move from one class to another) some of the kids went outside and got in a fight,which I then had to break up, restrain 2 kids, and ended up with me having to have 2 kids arrested.... then after school 2 more kids ( not the ones previously arrested) got in a fight, which I had to break up. So on Monday I get to hold two meetings to determine if these kids need to be placed in custody ( it's like juvie)

But hey it's over and all 4 kids are very sorry and have settled down and apologized. And hey it's Friday and I get to go home soon:)

MsG! I bow before your didication and will DEFINATELY be coming to you for advice when I start teaching again next week. I am not quite sure I would have been as enthusiastic about the job if I had realised that about half my pupils would be funtionally illiterate (no joke)! I am also a bit worried that, due to staff walking out, no-one quite knows who or what I'll be teach9ing on monday! Ah well, let us drown our sorrows together!

Family issues have reared thier ugly head again.

My cousin has leukemia and has been going through chemotherapy, this was supposed to be his last treatment but now the doctors aren't so sure it will be.

And if thats not bad enough the kid in the room next to him had leukemia too, we hadn't seen him for awhile and we ran into his parents yesterday and they said he died.

Him and my cousin had become friends, so now he's got to deal with that too.
