FF and Serenity were both filmed around LA.

Though Summer was just recently in NM, filming the pilot of The Sarah Conor Chronicals in Albuquerque.

mostly on location up in Malibu Canyon. Supposedly, If you look real close, you can see and recognize places from M*A*S*H, which was filmed in literally some of the same places.
