Sorry about that, Kel. Was back at work, for one, and it smelled horrible there and I had to call the fire dept, for two.
Yep, I called my boss and said there was a smell I couldn't really identify but I thought it might be gas, so she told me to call the fire dept and I and the woman who came to relieve me waited out in the cold for a bit. Turns out it wasn't a hazardous gas leak, though. A sewer backed up. Joyful. Those firemen were laaauuughing. So were the paramedics they insisted on sending to make sure I was okay. All in all, mildly entertaining, not all that exciting, and quite disappointingly devoid of tall and handsome firemen with sexy accents.

The sun is out and the blossoms are on the trees. I think I'm going to take my camera for a walk.

And no, Bryce, sadly they were not that swai. I talked to two of them, and one was very somber and serious and had a face-eating mustache, and the other was very nice, obviously holding back laughter, and rather short and portly, and also probably old enough to be my dad.

Sucks about Haven. Try clearing your cache; that's tended to work for me. If it doesn't, try doing a system restore. I had to do that once, and I have no idea why. But it worked. There's also refreshing over and over and screaming at it til it works

so I read nic fits and think NIC (Network Interface Controller) fits and goes back to my abilities to knock out half of a site's networking yesterday, not good.

Hope you get over the nic fits, one of the tricks I remember of all people John Cleese advertising is to keep a bunch of old butts in a sealed jar of water and when you had the cravings open the lid and take a sniff, the smell should put you right off.

Morning all...sorry Kelkhil had to clean my room, go through my in basket, and set everything up for the monster test next week ( which will be 4 days of utter hell since the test is waaay too hard for the kids and I have to make them stay in their seats quietly for hours a day)
