Can't Find the Serenity (special edition July 2007?)

Alright, I'm getting a bit paranoid.
...alright...a bit more paranoid

[Perhaps because Drive was canceled by F*X after only 4 episodes aired.]
But shouldn't there be some evidence that the stated July 2007 release of the 2-disc special edition of Serenity will occur?
Nothing listed at Amazon.com for pre-order (even though there is a listing for the direct-to-DVD release of new Babylon 5 shows for July 31st).
Nothing new on the internet regarding the July release.
Has anyone heard anything new?

July was the first word (I can't remember what site reported that, and I don't know how firm that date was when they reported it).

Then on WHEDONesque, Joss said "summer".

Since then, I've also seen "late summer" (although I can't remember where, at the moment).

It's basically unclear at the moment.

(Although elsewhere here on FFF.net, the coordinator of this year's charity Serenity screenings mentioned that if the DVD is done by like mid-June, the DVD itself, rather than just a voucher for one, will be a prize item at the screenings. Whether that means he's heard that it could theoretically be done by then, or that's just what he figures would be the latest mail-off date if it WERE done by then, I have no idea.)

I would hope an earlier release date may generate increased sales of the DVD that might help maybe possibly hopefully inspire Universal to greenlight the sequel by the reported SEP 2007 deadline.
