I was just looking through this board and had thought thought/wounder if there was anywhere in the UK which will be showing Serenity. I watched it the original time it came out, and would very much like to see it again on the big screen.

I live in York and woundered if anybody knows how to (if possible) how this kind of thing could be set up buy us fans. Maybe even get City Screen or some other cinema/movie theatre would/could do this.

Take care all

Don't know where York is in relationship to the UK Charity Screenings in June 2007. If none of these are close enough, http://www.cantstoptheserenity.com/ has directions and advice on how to set up your own Charity Serenity Screenings. Also those arranging screenings always need help.

In 2006, organizers held Charity Serenity Screenings in 47 cities around the world, raising over $65,000.

STOWEAWAY

Looks like York is fairly close to Manchester.
They tried their darnedest to have a Can't Stop the Serenity screening in Manchester but just couldn't make the finances work out.
Seems I remember something about a screening in Leeds too. Maybe that was last year.
There's still time if you want to try and put together a screening in York. I bet you could get some of the folks in Manchester to come.
Head over to the website www.cantstoptheserenity.com and talk to some of the other organizers about how to get started.
