I didn't see a thread for this, so I thought I'd start one. This was just finalized last week, and I'm pretty excited about it. It will either be amazing, or very disappointing. Take a look, what do you all think?

i cant wait for this mmo to come out. i would really like to fly a firefly doing jobs as they come along. fighting alliance on the way with evasion tactics. i hop it somewhat resembles world of warcraft online. i think that would be a good starting type of setup.

Agreed, I think that it's likely to be something like EVE online, which would be kinda cool.

Altheon, do you have a link to the news about this being "finalized"? I've been trying to keep up on all the news (I'm a huuuge MMORPG fan), and I haven't seen that anywhere. In fact, I was starting to get worried, since the last interview (April 17th) said they *still* don't have anyone to make the game.

I don't remember where I saw that it was being finalized. It was an interview with someone from Multiverse, and there was a specific question about the game. The guy's response was "we haven't decided yet, since we just finalized the deal with Fox last week" or some such. All I can say is google it :p

Someone on the multiverse forums has said that there's been no news since the original press release. So, pretty much nothing has changed. Though I imagine that discussions are underway if even only internal.
