You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

You're all going to bed before I even get home from work? WTF? It's only 6:30!
Anyway. Job. Yeah. Not really what I would call fun. I'm sore, I'm exhausted, and I'm worried I missed a few specks of dust or something. The things people do for a living! I sure hope I can make it three months, and then I'll be home free.
Well, no I won't be, but I'll be in school, and once I get done with school I'll be home free!
Until my skills need updating and I have to go back... Nah, I'll still be home free, because my employer can pay for my skill updates.

Thanks Gee! I second your best wishes to PR, it's always tough to learn a new job, it will get easier as you learn the shortcuts!

Not had a good observation today. It started out really badly and then I pulled it all together about halfway through and finished well. Unfortunately I was only being watched for the first half. I've got to go and meet him for feedback now, find out my grade.

*finishes burger and juice for a second time, nothing like a virtual bar to bend the laws of relativity*

hey all

misread PRs post and thought she was going to be doing paperwork in the shower!

sorry to hear about your observation Emma, they always seem to pick the worst time for these things, my other half has come home several times complaining the only time things went wrong the whole week was when her observer was in the class room. Only thing to do is talk about what went wrong, how you'd fix it in future, how you recovered the class after they'd gone and what you learnt. Of course if that ain't good enough we can always give them a damn good kicking, or I believe Kel offers smiting services to patrons.

Thanks but turns out the smiting won't be necessary. I was rated at 2 - i.e. a good lesson despite the problems!

Was really cheerful about that until I had to give out feedback forms for my next lot and they said some mean things. Arh well. Can't win 'em all.

Very tired now.
