Yay books!

Nope, day was made of misery, but I was fixed at the end of it so I'm just kinda sore rather than endlessly hurty (and hence bitchy). Tomorrow I will have music, and hopefully that will make it a bit better.

What kind of music?

Speaking of hurting, I started walking the trail at a local park, did it yesterday and today and my feet are killing me.

The signs at the park say the trail is about 3.5 miles long.

My musical library, even an abbreviated version of it, is too ecclectic to really sum up. Mostly various tpes of rock on the player, though. Stuff I can work to.
Goodnight everyone, I have to go to bed now.

EDIT: Hi Jimmy! Welcome to the bar. By all means to the thing men seem to bond best over and char some meat over a flame! You'll probably attract all the other blokes to comment on how you're not doing it right and try to steal the BBQ tongs (that's what always happens in my family)

Mav recommended the Dresden series to me. She said that you also enjoyed the series. I thought "Hey if Mav and MSG like it, then it must be good." I bought and read Book #1. After reading it I went back to the book store and got 2-9 (well, except 5 because that took another trip). I read 2 and 3 and have been trying to squeeze more reading in to my schedule, but time has been very thin lately.

PR expressed an interest in Dresden, so I sent #1 to her. If she likes the book I'll cycle them to her at the rate that I complete them ( for my lack of time).

So I'm only up to the events at the end of the third book with the vampire stuff where (spoiler) Susan gets a sudden aversion to garlic(end spoiler).

Edit: Good morning everyone!

I am not sure if that is the name of it or not, but I'll have one with ya! :)

Two recipes I found when I looked it up on Google (obviously from the US):

Patriot recipe

1/3 oz vodka
1/3 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
1/3 oz grenadine syrup

Pour grenadine into a shot glass. Slowly pour in blue Curacao to create a blue layer, then slowly add vodka to create clear top layer. Serve.

patriot

1/3 of a shot red aftershock
1/3 of a shot After Shock (Blue)
1/3 of a shot sambuca

pur one third of blue aftershock into a shot glass, layer one third of sambuca followed by layering one third of red aftershock.this will seperate looking like a flag and will knock your head off!!
