I wasn't sure how to take that. "your husband will make you clean"? As in:

A) Your soul no longer full of garlic (Grinch reference).

B) Have a sincere fondness for Windex.

As in "force you to clean the house" was the context of the conversation. I missed a couple spots, see, and she was kind of getting on me about thorough cleaning and asked if I didn't clean my own house. And I said I did, but not getting into every little nook with my fingernails and scrubbing. And in this context it was the stove, and my stove is a flat top and can't be scrubbed that way anyway; it would be ruined. So then she said I would have to clean like that for my husband. Hence the argument. I'm guessing from that conversation that her husband never cleaned a day in his life

mornin' Rose-doll *hugs* Good luck dealing with them today, if they get on your nerves again, you can always imagine them being eaten and sewn into clothing by reavers.

Kel - things are going well, got trivia tonight, and the 76th shindig is only 8 days away (which means your next batch of beer will be ready then)

No, no. You will be delighted to clean his house. And do some foot rubbing. You should know your place.

Well yes. How else would you be a perfect bride?

Dripping sarcasm aside now - She probably doesn't have enough brain power to think any other way than that having the chromosomes that she does puts her in to servitude.

Fun stuff.

If I understand correctly, then yes I'd say they're very proverb 31 types. *twitches violently as she actually reads said proverb*
You can rant about it to me if you really want to
*also dives into the gummi reavers and wishes she wasn't going to work*

LOL Fly.

I suppose some people need that structured, dominated, docile, subservient aspect in their life to feel "normal". Gotta keep up appearances, can't let anyone in the Sunday school class think you're not a "good wife". Meh. It gives them a purpose in life (which to me is sad).

Heh, when Ami lived here (and she is moving back in next week) I still did most of the cleaning that got done.
