Well, it's June, and getting close to time for Can't Stop The Serenity. CSTS is arguably one of the Noblest things to come out of the Sereniverse, and it's even Fun on top of that!

I hope lots of you are planning to attend a Screening near you, or at least order some of the Swag (Tee Shirt looks Real Shiny!). It's to celebrate Joss' Birthday by contributing to his favorite cause, Equality Now. There are screening locations all over the US, and I hope lots of you decide to Attend.

Unfortunately, there isn't going to be one in Indiana, so I'm gonna fire up the Mid-Bulk Transport and go to Champaign, Illinois. Anyone living near Bloomington IN is invited to contact me (timslyrics@hotmail.com) to arrange transportation or a Caravan. The Good Ship Jade seats seven! I need a Navigator, and someone to sing the Filk songs with me

Yes, I'm going and I can't wait. Flame and the Raleigh crew are bound to put on a great screening if the Bedlam Bards are any measure.

If any more NC Browncoats are interested please come. The Raleigh link is here http://raleighshindig.blogspot.com/

Got the same crew rounded up for Boston as last year. If it's half as good as last June's screening it'll be right shiny.

Charlotte is shaping up to be a much bigger party than last year.
And if current ticket sales are any indication, we'll have a lot more Browncoats in attendance too.

Not many people talking ticket sales out in the open, but a number of organizers talk about them behind closed doors, as it were.

Of course I'm going. I think I've even roped two serenity noobs into going too. The worst thing is that all this thinking about seeing serenity on the big screen again is making me itch to watch the movie again. Though I feel like I should hold off so it's not all so fresh in my mind.

Must be patient.

Kinda have to go since I'm helping organize the shindig in Seattle and besides, wild Reavers couldn't keep me from going!

Can't Stop the Serenity - Seattle-style www.freewebs.com/seattlebrowncoats/

I'd certainly like to see better ticket sales but 2/3's of the tickets last year were sold the two weeks prior to the show. Come on Seattle fans - dig deep into those pockets!!

Man, I hope I get to go. The organizer for our city fell through (went to two places, didn't get either, and doesn't have time to look for more). There is one an hour away, though, so I'll ask about it.

The Tampa screening experienced a few hiccups this year. The original organizer dropped out. But there's a new organizer now and it's still in the planning stages. Keep a close eye on the Tampa listing at www.cantstoptheserenity.com. Hopefully all the details should be released soon.

Looks like we have our first sell-out in Texas. So, yeah, I think tickets sales are brisk. Here in Charlotte we've sold 78 tickets out of 200. Not a sell-out by any means but very promising.
