Does anyone know where the elusive Hotpoint has gone off to? I would give you a picture and a description, but... well... yeah.

Well...much as it pains me to say, he's kinda migrated over to FanFiction.net and started doing a trilogy like his "21st Lancers" trilogy, but for Buffy. It's an AU reboot of Season 7 that merges into an AU Season 5 of "Angel" called "Compelled to Play.."

Seems the world went to go se post-"Not Fade Away" and Illyria got enough power back to travel back a couple of years to see if she couldn't make things flow a bit better.

Who knows...if you beg hard enough, you could lure him back

There were four stories in my Lancers quadrilogy as I recall... you know I think it's all starting to come back to me now

One epic at a time please, Compelled is already longer than my Firefly Series and that was over 280,000 words when I put it on hiatus.

Honest I will get back to HF&A eventually. I've even got a detailed outline for the follow up "Hot Iron and Cold Steel". I've had a promotional poster sitting ready on my hard drive for that for over a year.

Whew! Damn, I'm glad to hear that. There are so few really good epic fics out there. Your series is still one of my top three favorite fics in any genre, and when you stopped posting, I stopped reading stuff here. In fact, I pretty much stopped reading Firefly fanfiction altogether...

Will you post it on Fanfiction.net too, or just here?

BTW, the next time you are on Fanfiction.net, would you mind checking out the stories I have written? They're not that well written and I'm looking for someone to tell me what I need to do to fix that, instead of just telling me that they liked/disliked the stories. My user profile there is "Sci-fi Junkee". I'd greatly appreciate it if you did...

Hot Iron and Cold Steel like the rest of the Lancer stories will only be posted here but don't expect to see it any time soon, I'm really concentrating on my Compelled Series at the moment (it's the best thing I've written).
