Husband's job is going well. He said last night that he liked it better and better as the days go on, though the fireplace business is obviously slow this time of year. He likes the owner's ethics (this is a biggie for Husband) and the guys he works with a are pretty cool.

It also helped that yesterday he caught a huge mistake someone had made before it was too late, and owner praised him and said something like "You're as good as everyone said you are."

When he told me this, I smiled but turned my head away and rolled my eyes. The boy's got a big enough head as it is w/o boss feeding "The Ego that Ate Washington."

Yep, nearly three hours. She kept saying she was going to bed, and then we'd get off on another tangeant and laugh our heads off. Except when spiders were mentioned, then we just twitched.
Anyway...

I'm okay. I was up late (talking to Magda, oddly enough... wait, I think you knew that) so I'm sleepy, and I need to get my head together and turn in a couple more applications. Rawr. Life is so stressful.

Good morning all! It appears I missed about 3 or 4 threads.... oh well..

Magda, I'm not ignoring you lovie.. I can't access my stupid myspaz (now I see why you might call it that) account. It won't believe I'm me, and customer service hasn't even sent an automated message.

There are about five or six friends requests I cannot get to. (People are gonna think I'm such an asshat if this doesn't get resolved soon. "be my friend.. just kidding!")

I just sent a message to the privacy department (because that's another link) hoping someone there will have a suggestion or can give the right gang a nudge.
I followed all the instructions and was using the correct information (I checked after the first failed attempt). Apparently I need to be logged in to log in.

sigh.

Barkeep, a large pina colada if you please, and a mango passionfruit daquiri to keep it company.

Dad and aunt are on the same floor in the hospital with a new hip apeice. Thursday he was doing well and she was not, yesterday they'd reversed that, who knows what today will bring. It's like they're on a teeter totter. They'll be going to the same rehab facility on the same day unless Dad falls behind in recovering.
Two visits, one trip, gotta love it!

Turns out I went to school with one of the nurses on that floor. It was good to see her again! I was very happy to know she'd be taking care of my family.. she's good.

The bachelor party was pretty boring. The guys were relegated to the garage...the groom threw up, the next door neighbor passed out drunk whilst singing "Daydream Believer" on karaoke and while walking home!
