Hypothetical: God comes to you and says She'll give you and the world ten years of Joss-controlled Firefly, un-messed-with by the network, and never pre-empted by stupid sports..all you have to do is cut off the little finger of your left hand, and it all happens.

Would you do it? Could you do it?
For REAL. Would it be worth that much to you?
And remember, She didn't say you couldn't take the finger to the ER and have it sewn back on...

Hell yes it's worth that much to me! The only problem I have with it is the whole cutting it off myself (I assume w/o painkillers, too) thing.

I gotta agree with Reaverman, yes it would definitely be worth it. One little finger for a show that great? Is there any doubt?

Having to chop it myself is the only thing that would make me think twice as well.
But then that's one of reasons alcohol is around, makes you do things you wouldn't do sober.

God is most definitely a She.
She looks like Alanis Morrisette.

On a lighter note it would be great if God/Goddess were feminine just to prove the major religions wrong.

My left pinky right? Not my right. That means I can still draw, ok then, if HE asked me, then yes. Provided I can set it up by wrapping the base of my finger with string or some such to make it numb by the time I'm ready to cut it off.

Nothing makes this life more tolerable than a show where I can forget myself for a few moments and get lost in it, so I would have to say yes. I don't like the idea of losing a part on my hand, but I guess a good series is worth a lesser digit. I hope there will be morphine available for the I'm-not-much-into-pain crowd.

It would be like our secret handshake. They'd have to write it into the plot at some point that Mal would lose his finger and have it re-attached, just like the rest of us Browncoats.

Also the original Chrisisall post said nothing about a one time deal. If you add all the chopped pinkys together at ten years each - that's a lot of years.
