They'll actually pay you in cashy money (and coins at that) rather than the collection of ones and zeros that are accepted as having value (ie electronic payment)?

Work is good, Pirates can be shiney at times (I was impressed with the pre-titles section of the recent movie, very effective), although last year's AVCon (Audio/Visual Convention; the annual gathering of otakus, gamers, audiophiles and general nerdity in Adelaide) had the theme of Pirates vs Ninjas. This year's theme is Rock Starz, which suggests there'll be a massive Guitar Hero tourney running all weekend.

Am I babbling yet? Sugar/caffiene ODing in the form of uber-choc caramel hot chocolate followed by a cup of tea is always good for the jitters (causing them, not calming them).

Morning, everyone. Day 3 of being unemployed. I don't like it. No sir, I don't like it a bit.

We had 2 hellacious storms last night; the second knocked out our power for several hours at night. We even had hail in both lines of storms which is incredibly rare for Maryland.

Here's to hoping I get contacted by one of the companies I sent a resume to. *anxious and restless*

Glad to hear you found a catering company, Rose. It's perfect work for you- you just have to find a company that will employ you at least twice a week.
