Ya know, it just occured to me that, with "I, Robot" and "Dodgeball" coming out, Alan will be in a position to make the talk-show circuit...

In the process of plugging these other projects, he woudl be marvelously positioned to put in a few choice words about a certain OTHER project.

With grim amusement do I realize that a few spots on Leno, etc. could lead to more publicity for Firefly (and Serenity) than it ever got on FX

Imagine it, Alan on Conan, mentioning the Browncoat Legions, getting the attention of the media. Mayhap a few fan interviews... Mucho coverage, costing Universal not a dime (more to spend on the mooovieee!!).

Plug away, Alan!

I like that idea. Publicity is good. Publicity makes people want to see the movie. Many people seeing the movie (not counting the 10 plus times apiece that I estimate the brown coats will see it, providing it turns out well) makes the cause stronger.

Truly 'tis so. We Browncoats can't shoulder the whole burden of guerilla marketing!

A big plus of this is that "I, Robot" is coming out around the time that "Serenity" will be in full production mode, WELL in advance of its release...which gives folks plenty of time to check out the DVDs and get good and amped about the progress of the BDM.

That's a great idea! I hope Alan does mention Firefly and Serenity while promoting 'I, Robot'

If he hits Leno, I'm there.

Early: You ever been raped, Kaylee?
Kaylee: You know, it's funny you should mention that... ever heard of the Fox network?

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

I agree it would be a great opportunity for plugging "Serenity", if Alan does get to do the talk show tour. Most likely they would try to book Will Smith for such a thing.
