In their movies both young ladies initiated incredibly violent fights inside dining establishments, exhibiting outstanding skills and techniques in Crouching Tiger and Serenity respectfully. I don't know very much about their real lives; anybody know who's for real or not, or opinions on who is more talented.

DARKFLY

Zhang Ziyi I don't think did all her action scenes in the film she was in whereas Summer did everything in Serenity apart from the bit when River does flips down the steps in the bar scene, since she might have seriously injured herself the stunt woman coincidentally did actually hurt herself when she did that stunt.

I prefer Summer over Zhang Ziyi for many reasons...
1# Hotter

2# She moves eglantly like a ballerina, oh wait she was a pro ballerina before she went into acting

3# Summer's a BDH

4# Summer is younger

5# Zhang Ziyi is a nice person in real life but I find Summer so much sweeter and nice

AGATSU

I like Zhang Ziji (although I have to admit I didn't even know here name, but I have seen her in a couple of movies, including Tiger and Dragon and Geisha (where she didn't have a lot of fight scenes, obviously).
Although I'm very much into Asians, I like Summer way better. Zhang has mad Kung-Fu skills, don't get me wrong, but I've seen those moves a thousand times. Summer's aforementioned ballerinesque (I got dips on that word!) influence makes me wanna wear tights and tipple over to her on my toes, doing pirouettes, and then drop to my knees in front of her.
And then she'd smile, and that would be the end of that because no girl on earth can match Summer's smile, especially because most of the time RIver looks kinda sad, and when that smile comes up...wheeeee. :)
So in both categories, fighting style and cuteness, Summer wins hands down, although Zhang Ziji kicks major ass and is way cute, too.
Great now I'm gonna have to watch the Reaver fight scene again. Fortunately, Serenity is on in the backgrund, anyways. :)

JONGSSTRAW

In this 'verse of the Sino-American Alliance, we never really had any significant parts for Chinese actors. I'd love to see Zhang Ziyi in the Serenity sequel....perhaps as a different type of Parliament agent than an Operative, or even as a top Parliament member herself, the youngest and most feared. A climactic showdown with River, now part of the second rebellion would be amazing. I'd give up sex to see that...oh wait, I already have...well then something else for sure. Zhang Ziyi has it all. I put her high up on that magical list of top action babes, right there with Summer and Jessica Alba. Any skeptics just go Google her images.
