Can anyone tell what the bumper sticker on the back of Wash's chair in the cockpit says? Ever since the DVDs came out, I keep thinking that if I play certain episodes in slow motion I might be able to tell what's written on it. So far it hasn't worked.

MAGUINAN

You can see glimpses of it in several episodes. The one that seems closest to me is Out of Gas, in the scene where Mal is showing Inara the shuttle. The bumper sticker is on the back of the chair and flashes by the screen a little too fast to read. I don't know if the sticker is supposed to be on all the cockpit chairs or if its appearance is a slip up of some sort.

STIZO

After going over various eps in slow-mo for over half-an hour (i'm incredibly bored), I was able to make out all but one of the words.
It reads:

SEAT MUST BE
IN FORWARD ????? OF TRAVEL
DURING TAKEOFF AND LANDING

I still can't make out the one word. It appears to contain what looks like T,A,C,H,E,S, and a few other letters; but those might be wrong.

The same thing appears to be on all the chairs in the cockpit (and the pilot's chairs in the shuttle too).

I'm also in the process of trying to figure out what the tag on his seat cushion says.

Also, watching Firefly in slow-mo is incredibly funny. I suggest you try it. They sound like they are trippin (or drunk) when they talk. (especially when its in chinese)
