It's the net phenom that just won't die. It's too much fun!

It's been around awhile. I'm actually a latecomer to the whole trend, but that's okay because new ppl jump on teh bandwaggen evry dai!
Just check LJ communities, flickr pools and groups, the websites dedicated to nothing else and you'll see how widespread it has been and continues to be.
My cat macro photobucket excedes its bandwidth; I had to make another one that was private to be able to post the pics at all (all browncoats are welcome to use it too; guest password 'browncoat') I was shocked at how many people must have sought it out...
I haz almost 700 lolcats now

(and I made probably 150 of them myself...)

Just wonder why the childlike talking for the kittie's, I would have assumed a much more sophisticated speech(but then I'm a fan of cat stories where they end up being the most intellegent person in a room full of humans

English is their second language, and they learned most of it from the ZOMGL33TLOL of teh internets, so their grammar is lacking. That or they've invented their own grammar.
