so Creation Events.. one of the cons this autumn, has on their merchandise page a bunch of "official" Firefly photos and "licensed" postage stamps..

The post office were going to issue commemorative Star Trek stamps but they had to discontinue them. Apparently people couldn't work out which side they were supposed to spit on.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

$49.95 for four stamps?!? I'd say they were expensive. More like robbery.

I would pay $20.00 for them just because they are shiny and a novel idea. $50.00? Not so much.

If you read the fine print... you are getting 4 sheets of 10 stamps each, aka 40 stamps for a total face value of $16 in stamps

Browncoats are the shiniest folks in the 'verse
