Morning all..and a big HUG of congratulations for Rose and her amazing ( and pretty brave) choice to go back to school and all!!! Go Rose!!

OK I need coffee...really really badly. Yesterday almost killed me. We did a field trip to the largest college campus in the state and then had a photo scavenger hunt with the kids ( I of course ended up with the super competetive teacher/kids so we ran...and I do mean RAN all over the entire campus for an hour) Then we went to the park and I played ultimate frisbee full out for 2 1/2 hours...then we got the kids back by 2:30 and I was at my friend Allie's babysitting from 3-11pm...so tired...

Yeah, it was pretty good.

I got a little tipsy friday night. Saturday night some people were supposed to come over, but then this girl called me and wanted to take me to the Drive-in. Afternoon all,

been working from home all day so in bizare twist of fate been stuck on my laptop all day and not able to hop on here. Not that I'm doing that much jumping, I kind dropped a tin of paint on my toe last week, jammed the nail into the bed and then it got infected so the kind doctor person cut my toe open yesterday (luckily after I persuaded him to put a local in, which he wasn't going to do to begin with) and so now walking with a very pronounced limp.

On the plus side, saw Aimme Mann on Friday night in London town and she was amazin, kind of interested how I cope hobling with the Mrs to Football on Wednesday but we'll cope with that one when we get there!

The peas thing is not wierd at all, I was a skinny kid who was permanently pulling\injuring muscles and joints in my legs so very used to the frozen pea ice pack.

Of course these days I am a marginally less skinny clutz so things haven't moved on that far...

Hugs and glad you know the frozen peas...but do you know the rice warmer?? Take an athletic sock. Fill it with uncooked rice. Tie the top. Microwave for 2-4 min ( depending on thickness and desired heat level) it's the best heating pad ever and lasts for hours!!

Sorry I've been out of contact lately, things have gotten hectic around here. So far this month, we've had 25 call-outs with the CFS, one week of which contained over 10 vehicle accidents, some of the fatal. (This in the week after I became Road Crash Rescue qualified.)

Plus I started work on monday, and am on day shift, which means 7am-3pm. So in order to get up at 5.30am I tend to go to sleep around 9pm or so, and monday nights I have CFS training, which makes Tuesdays even more tiring. It doesn't help that the bus I get home at the end of the day coincides with the end of the school day, so my trip home is spent crammed into the bus with lots of loud, annoying kiddies.

Anyway, things are really busy, and I'm worn out and in need of sleep. Will write in again when I have the energy.

Still hoping to get to D*C.
