Just a quick note to say “thanks" to everyone who took up the cause of continuing the buzz for "Wonderfalls."

Friday nights continue to be tough on Fox. The Friday night numbers seem to have dropped -- not just our numbers, but our lead-in as well. However there is some good news to report. The encore of our pilot on Thursday actually posted slightly better numbers than its original Friday airing. The significance of this should not be underestimated. This never happens, that a repeat does better than a premiere. Especially considering that there was very little actual promotion for this repeat; it was a last minute decision, and wasn’t even listed in most TV Guides.

I suspect a certain awareness was generated by your efforts, so again thanks for that.

Tim Minear

So some limited good news, anyway. Here's hoping for better to report soon.

we watched. better than most, not as good as buffy/angel, not near as good as firefly. but i think i'll watch again. we laughed out loud a few times. said huh huh a few times.
set the dvr to record. the dvr is great. you can tell it to record all of a particular show and watch when you can. then the friday 8:00 thing doesn't have to interfere.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

I am going over to a friend's house tonight to watch it w/ him. Taking pizzas (small bribe). I will be taping Stargate SG1 to watch later that evening.

The season is over. Did you miss some of it, or what?

Anyway, I'll be watching again....

For those who didn't yet know, Wonderfalls is (at least this week) moving to Thursday after Tru Calling.

This happened after the TV guides were printed, so if you have new converts let 'em know where they can watch or record Jaye's Chatty Menagerie this week.

Yeah, I missed part of the episode they were repeating on Friday night, so I had to tape it.

Wonderfalls was pretty good. The penguin was cool and made me think of Firefly.

I will have to make a note of WF moving to Thursday nights. Luckily there is nothing on Thursdays so it won't conflict w/ my schedule.

The real question is, how long before a model firefly talks to Jaye?

There's one very big reason for people to stick with "Wonderfalls" that I'm surprised no one's mentioned yet. Don't forget our very own Jewel Staite joins the cast in a recurring role after episode 7.

Certainly that's the reason (along with the pedigree of Mr. Minear, of course) that I gave it a chance and I must admit I'm glad I did. Though the concept sounded terrible on paper and I thought I wouldn't like the series at all, I really enjoyed the two episodes I've seen so far. It seems to have a lot of potential.

Thanks for posting that link astarte.

This is just a friendly bump to remind everybody that Wonderfalls comes on thurs instead of fri (at least for this week, maybe longer if ratings are good). Please watch and tell everyone you know about the show if you like it.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.
