Is the Serenity Collectors Edition only coming out in America on the 21st of August? Im in the UK and when I went on to Amazon to pre-order it I only found it on the .com site.

I'm afraid that yes, the Collectors Edition is only coming out in America. I do not think there are any plans for a region 2 version as yet.

You can still order it over from Amazon.com, alternatively you could try playusa.com where the price is just £13.99 including delivery, and they have already started sending copies out!

If you do decide to order it from the US then make sure your DVD player can handle region 1 discs. In the UK we are region 2.

Or you just go online look for the hack codes and make your dvd a regionless player and then get the movie....trust me it works fine. MisterG hacked ours and we can play Hong Kong, British, and Australian dvds just fine...( oh we're in the U.S. if that explains it better)

Trust me, cheap hacked or Multi region players are readily available here. The one I've got cost me about £30, ('bout $60), and plays discs from every region.

Just hoping the customs people don't catch my copy on the way into the country, they stick a big duty tariff on if they do.
