I show this movie to all who will watch ... my father and little bro love it (my fathers near 50 and my bro is 9) Firefly touches all ages

I WANT MY FIREFLY BACK!

stupid network dumps the show after airing the season all messed up its not fair they never gave Firefly a chance i believe that if they had kept with a air time instead of moving it around a whole bunch it would have had better ratings ... i for one wont stop i want more i want more Firefly

Buy Serenity CE, buy one for yourself, or brother, and your father, and then buy 2 more. Wanting isnt enough unfortunately, if it was then it would already be back on. But if networks see that the sales for the DvD are through the roof then who knows what could happen then.

BRINGITBACK

Im frustrated as all hell that us Aussies cant get involved in the S.E craziness and bump up those sales.

My attitude of pessimism has changed over the last month with all the great Joss interviews

We WILL get our crew back. Im tipping a return in 09.

Well, Universal has to opt in for another BDM in September, at the latest, if they are gonna do it at all. A very canny Browncoat of my acquaintance pointed out that, if Universal was gonna release the BDCE as simply another "Collectors' Edition," they would normally have set it for release during the highly-profitable November holiday sales season.

Thus, my clever friend supposes that the August release for the BDCE was selected specifically as the last acid test for the market viability of another BDM. After all, Joss was very specific when he stated that the BDCE was the final, best hope for more.

The sales numbers for the BDCE have been great, in the US; Amazon.com seems to be having trouble filling all the orders, the brick-and-mortar stores are running out... Demand is beginning to exceed initial supply.

The ball is now firmly in Universal's court.

It's time to play.

BEAUCOUPDINKIDAU

I bought the CE and now am intent on picking up a few more copies. I've gotten some of my friends to at least watch a few episodes and my one friend got me hooked on Buffy and Angel so im going to let her borrow my series of Firefly.

I just started watching this show a few months ago and was amazed to see how many people were still talking about it. It is truly amazing that a show that only has 14 episodes is so beloved that the fans got a movie and i am grateful to be apart of that.

The other day my brother went online and was trying to prove a point to me saying that Firefly was just canceled because it is a horrible show. And in the end found out how good the dvd did, how well the movie sales did and asked me if it did this good why aren't they making more? Now Firefly and Serenity might not have done great when they first appeared but fans are popping up everywhere, everyday and i am an example of that. And even my brother who doesn't like the show or the movie wonders why there isn't more of it.

I think that says something. And i am really hoping that the CE sales do great because i am not finished with Firefly and would like to see some kind of return, whether it be a feature film, a tv show, or made for tv movie.
