Real rootbeer does not come in kegs. It comes in gallon jugs.

ok, i gots the powder and some tin foil; anyone got baking soda and a butane lighter?

"Take my love, take my land,
Take my crack stem from my hand,
I don't care, I'm still free,
My fingers stink of feces

Take me out, buy some crack,
Tell your mom I'll be right back,
Burn the land boil the sea,
You can't take this high from me

There's no place I can be
since I started smoking trees

You can't take my crack from me"

I can hear Garrison Keeler doing the intro now. "After the Earth was used up we found a new solar system...."

Heard Garrison K. broadcasting from the Minnesota State Fair this very afternoon...beginning PHC's new season.

On the subject of root beer quantities, when my parents made root beer they bottled it individually in 12oz. bottles.
Yum.

Tooth-rottingly sweet alcoholic drinkage was requested earlier -- how about Kahlua and cream?
Creme de menthe over vanilla ice cream?
C de M over shaved ice? (you don't want your ice with the hair left on, do you???)

Might it be time to go down in the back corner of the cargo bay and taste that hodgeberry wine we crushed back in '05???

Party on!

The massage staff prefer polite requests. Talented but very proud are the noble tribe of Masseussians.

Picnic this afternoon, with the family and some neighbors.
Gonnna go to a local park & wildlife area near the ocean.
Big thick sandwiches, ham on rye with Muenster cheese ( melty at room temperature.) or turkey on good sourdough.
Lots of chips, dips, cookies , brownies.
Cold sodas, floating in buckets of ice and water, guaranteed 33 degrees
3 differentr kinds of apples, one tart, one juicy and one called a Pink Lady I've never had before.
We'll be at the big table under the shady tree, and there's plenty to share, and big old empty tables right next door.

I have only had three decent massages in my life. The most talented practicioner of the art was a tiny but gorgeous Thai lady. Not only do I honour what that woman could do, if she let me I would have happily moved in with her to worship at her feet. Wow she was good. The second best massage artist I met I ended up sleeping with!

Soooo, any volunteers? If I ask very nicely?!

Asking that nicely and I should think you'll get quite a few volunteers. The line forms behind me.

So, um, want a rubdown?

No masseuse I, but Tikal has been specially trained. We can put on his poofy booties and let him dance Jarabe Tapatio on your back. It's quite soothing.

BTW, Pink Lady apples are usually pretty good. Enjoy.

Aaaw! I didn't mean to question your expertise and make you feel inadequate.

I'm sure you're a natural expert!

Only one way to find out for sure. Get up on that table and prepare to be massaged.

Despite the fact I'm here partying as I'm not a D*C, I keep looking for signs that folks are back home. Photos, posts...none as of yet.

No MsG.
No RIMG.
No Magda.
No PR.
No HK. (Even in Deep Lurk...)

Are people flying home today?

*misses the D*C folks*

Out of respect for the fair Mav, I won't repeat the ancient line about the fat lady singing. Instead, Yogi Berra's version: " It ain't over till it's over."
They're all still probably hanging around for one last drink, waiting for the last table in the huckster room to be folded, hoping for one last encounter with an Imperial Storm Trooper, or (probably... ) hoping to bump into Nathan at the airport.

Well, who could blame them. I mean those stormtroopers are built!

Still, it is awfully quiet around here without them. I want my friends back now!
