I love that she said Firefly/Serenity. I think the actors keep getting tripped up when asked about Firefly. Because you can't bring Firefly back exactly the way it was and the actors know it. Like you know Fox TV would probably cancel it again except after 4 episodes. Fox TV ain't getting it's paws on what comes next.

20th Century Fox Production Company. Now that is another matter.

America loves a winner!

Jewel and Nathan have to be the 2 biggest Firefly/Serenity fans in the 'verse. And it shows.

Any update on the flip-off contest between those 2 ? Last I heard, Jewel had one upped Nathan at the '05 DragonCon panel. I was there.... hee hee.

With all due respect to Brad Pitt and Lawrence Fishburne, Jewel's husband Matty just might be the luckiest man on the planet.

*sigh*

I remember reading in an interview that Joss would consider going back to TV if conditions were right. He wasn't talking about specifically Firefly/Serenity. But I think he wanted to be assured he could finish the story. He is going to direct another episode of the Office. So he still loves TV. And Joss knows now that he has Dark Horse comics available to finish the story if he needs it. I don't think he will work for Fox TV directly again.

Look at Tim Minear's new show Miracle Man. Fox TV lost the bid for that to ABC. 20th Century Fox Production Company is making it. And Joss's bitterness towards TV is directed at Fox TV not
20th Century Fox Production Company. They loved Firefly. They kept the sets up for 6 months after Fox TV cancelled it...just to give Joss time to try and find another home.
