If I only knew where to charge to.

Fox studios? Not ruttin' likely to do us much good (although the thought of a whole acre of folks proudly wearing their brown coats making their way to Rupert Murdoch's office tickles me to no end).

Universal? Might be a little less addlepated to head that direction, but I'm not sure.

Joss? Hell, he's doing Buffy season 8 as we speak in comic book form... why can't we get Firefly comics, at the very LEAST? If only to hold us over until our miracle gets here and he gets to push that Big Red Button?

So, I guess I ain't much of a leader... but once we know where the charge is headed, rest assured I will be on the front lines.

Better Days is due out this winter sometime. I've heard January, but I may be wrong.

I think our efforts are best spent on introducing Firefly & Serenity to those who have not see it yet. Right now we really need to be pushing the Serenity SE dvd. Joss himself said if there is any hope for a sequel of some sort it lies with the sales of the SE dvd.

So, rather than leading a charge against execs who don't care anyway, why not put that enthusiasm to work where it can do the most good. Push the Serenity SE dvd as hard as you can. Buy as many copies as you can afford. Give them as gifts, donate them to libraries, use them as raffle prizes, whatever. We need to boost the sales figures for the SE dvd like crazy so we can show Universal our numbers have grown and we very much want our BDS (Big Damn Sequel)!

That being said, there is a myspace page for Oklahoma browncoats, but no one's logged into it for a very long time (like, since May), and they haven't really done much with the page. It seems like if anyone knows who's running it, ya'll should get in touch with them. I understand that internet gets cut off, computers get broken, real life interferes with fandom, blah blah blah... but if you're gonna run a chapter, you should have at least one person as backup to keep the lights on while the primary is incapacitated for whatever reason.
