Sasja, are you from Copenhagen, Denmark? Thought I was the only Danish Browncoat. I live in Copenhagen too.
Want to meet up to discuss Firefly sometime?

Sure - while we're hopefully not the only Danish browncoats, there's not enough of us! I'll be busy in the vacation, though - how about we meet up the weekend after, or the next weekend? We could meet at a cafe in the early afternoon, bring some posters and gear and after a good Firefly discussion take a round trip in Inner Copenhagen to make sure others will get a chance of noticing Firefly. How did you hear about it?

(og hvad laver du ellers til hverdag - jeg er selv programmør)

That sounds excellent - if they've been converted in the meantime, they should show up at the cafe, too (when we've decided exactly when and where)

Sounds like a great idea Sasja.
Gonna look for a print shop to get some posters printed (maybe we should try and coordinate which ones, and what sizes?).
Another idea, we should propably try and hit some of the dvd shops. The region 2 comes out in about two weeks, we should remind/strongly suggest retailers to stock up on it.
I got into Firefly completely by accident. I read about it over at Trekweb.com on the BBS. One of the posters was raving about it, so I went looking and downloaded the real pilot. Liked it, saw Train Job, loved it. The rest is history as they say. Got the DVD set for myself for Christmas and have been trying to convert some friends of mine.

I currently study Japanese at Copenhagen University and work part time at Netto.

I have danish roots, does that count?

Probably not....being in the dead center of the US and all.

But my last name is Jersild (named after the town), that has to count for something :)
