Perhaps another childhood story is necessary. One time when I was young I'm guessing 5 or less here I decided I didn't like the red peppers in some soup my Dad made for dinner. I refused to finish the stuff so he told me I had to sit at the table until I ate it. When my mom got home from work that night to find me sleeping in my seat at the table my Dad was in hot water.

Leme relate a lil story to you... once my wifes mother wanted something..she kept pushing for it and pushing for it ... now before I go any further I'll explain she works with the state government closely when she wants things... ultimatly the man who was governer decided he wasn't going to run again the next year for the office because he didn't want to deal with Mrs G's mom.

Mostly she is, but her ass is thoroughly kicked after riding in the truck all day THEN she had to drive to San Diego with her ex husband to pack her furniture and such out of the house. Needless to say I am a bit worried and went off on her for a few minutes on my concern over her going.

Not so much because of how she will handle going, but because her ex is a dumbass and has the sense of a retarded kid (as in small goat) trying to push his way through a stock wire fence.

Not that they will run into the POS offender, but if they do her ex is stupid and puts his anger in front of everything. He lacks the real world experience to effectively keep her and Cayden safe in most situations involving confrontation. Plus he's armed which to me is all manner of stupid in infinite ways. Anyone who has not been properly trained and has no real world experience handling weapons during a confrontation is almost always a liability to self and others. In this case his liability falls on a woman he had already been to jail for a DV incident (never convicted because mommy and daddy had a lawyer and the county had supplied shit for prosecution and no advocate) so needless to say I am a bit worried.

On the brighter side of life (because I really need to look there now) Mindy actually set a date with me for next weekend. Kinda wierd to see that she wants to advance on things after the last month and she is willing to take it slow and steady. I didn't think it would happen that way. For once she isn't just jumping in expecting a whole relationship in the matter of moments. We'll see where it goes.

One of my co workers is having a birthday party for her son and nephew so bein' as they are traditional Mexicans there will be a whole lotta food and cervesa. After dinner I'd like to go to a movie for a little quiet time then her boss is having a small party at his place. I can only imagine where we will end up but honestly I have no expections. I'd love to be able to sleep with her again but sex really should wait.

I just wonder if it can. Even though she was feelin' bad from back ache and the fun time of the month it seems there was alot of flirty "I missed you" touch. We did confront some of the issues we do have when we get around eachother. The tension is almost too great at times and neither of us really knows how to handle it.

Eh, seems I got a bit distracted. I actually got a shower today (water line break put the whole rez on intermittent water usage for the lat 48 hours) so I have that going for me.
