I'm not Canadian myself, but according to this thread:

http://www.trekbbs.com/threads/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=2624009

Canadian Global is considering buying Wonderfalls, at least for the remainder of the 13 eps produced so far.

Canadian fans, give them a call and let them know you want it!

This will at least get it out there.

Hey, we've even still got Firefly on the air on "Space", the Toronto based specialty station. They play all the episodes, in order. Doesn't really make a difference once you have the DVD's, but it's a great help in converting.

I just called my local Global affilitate to proclaim my support for the Wonderfalls idea.

Okay, I just sent off an email to Global Montreal's programming department asking what the status is. If anyone else wants to write, here's the email : mblanche@globaltv.com
Please write people! I don't care where you live, they need to hear that people want to see this show. There is precious little left to watch on TV.

LizWhiz out.

Just got this response:
Wonderfalls is off of our schedule until further notice. As of date, we have no further news.

Sucky. But we could still keep asking, right?

Actually, Space is starting Firefly over again tonight - starting with Serenity.

Works for me. I just sent out emails to friends in different provinces reminding them to watch tonight to see the pilot. I want to convert these friends, but let's face it, I'm not sending my DVDs anywhere that I can't drive over and get them back at a moments notice!!

Please help Haken keep this site running by clicking on a google ad on the side of the page!

Don't forget that we also get the uncut versions of Simpsons episodes, which are often trimmed by Fox for time/programming reasons, but are mostly shown in their entirety by Global and CFMT in Ontario.

Ummm...you guys....Global cancelled Wonderfalls, due to low ratings, even before FOX cancelled it. The show was airing on FOX and Global simultaneously. "Wound-Up Penguin" was the last ep to air in Canada.

^I have no direct information either way, but I heard it was something of a breakout hit in Canada.

The premiere was very sucessful. Then the ratings dropped very dramatically. So no, it was definitely NOT a "breakout hit," anywhere.
