Remember everybody that the 20th of Sept is 5th anniversary of the Train Job, the first Firefly episode to air. So celebrate by doing whatever we do whether be it watching Firefly 2 times in one day(technically impossible), watching Serenity, hosting a Shindig, or just worshipping your Summer Glau shrine.

And remember the 2 year anniversary of Serenity is on the 29th of Sept.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Well, I will be heading out at lunch on the 20th to pick up several more copies of the Serenity CE dvd to stockpile as gifts. When I get home I plan on ordering Chinese and sitting down to watch "The Train Job" since it is the anniversary of the airing of that particular episode.

I think I might just make it an entire Firefly themed day.

For those of us, including me, who saw "The Train Job" premire and got hooked on the spot, no Firefly/Serenity Anni-Verse-ary is more special.

The only way it could be more like-it-was is if John Doe was on DVD!!! GORRAMNIT!!!

Excellent! Thanks for the heads-up on the upcoming anniverary. Our local sci-fi group got to see Serenity before it opened, so it holds a special soft spot with us (even those that we haven't converted yet). I think I'll go start plannin' something right now....

I was going to stop by Best Buy to pick up another copy of Serenity CE and SLiTHER, but decided upon reading this to do that on the 20th.
