OOC: lol, ok than... yeah, Jake is an experiment from the academy. They... upgraded... his senses (sight, smell, hearing) to an animalistic level (i.e. he can see in the dark, track through scent and hearing... all that good stuff) and they also increased his strength and stamina, as well as his natural healing ability... he isn't gunna hurt your character or anything, and he really doesn't trust folks much, but he can't just sit around and watch someone innocent get hurt, even after all the crap he went through in the academy... That the kinda thing you wanted to hear?

As he was, quite literally, sniffing around for the woman that he had rescued from the mob, Jake ran into a group of feds. Nearly knocking over one of the men, Jake glanced up and then back down quickly, and began walking the other way. Hope they didn't see... "Jake Wolfe, you are bound by law for the murder of multipule Alliance officials, evading arrest, and treason. You are ordered to stand down!" ... my face... Jake thought, as he slowly raised his hands. The feds were a mite jumpy, considering how they all had rather large calibur handguns pointed at Jake from multiple different angles...

OOC: Also, just for fun, I decided to try and start a play by post RPG based off of a very VERY interesting series of books I'm reading right now by S.M. Stirling... Basically, in 1998, all technology dies... no guns, no planes, no cars, no plumbing... all that fun stuff... and the earth is plunged back into the dark ages (swords, spears, bows, castles, all THAT fun stuff) so, yeah, check it out if ya feel like it... you needn't have read the books to play, 'cause I can explain things if people get confused

"I'd call this pretty darn convenient!" He then advised himself that the man who had spoken wore what looked like a doctor's outfit. "Oh! You're the medic!" He gave the girl on the bed a puzzled look. "There's a medic on board?" His gaze settled on the man again. "My heartfelt apologies, sir," he said with all the contriteness he could conjure up. "What you must think of me, now! Storming into your place and turning it inside out!" he had hardly done as much, but he really could use a some fixing, and if groveling before the doctor was what it took do get it, so be it. OOC: Can I do that? Can I NPC canon characters if it doesn't involve the main plot?
