Rights to Firefly rumor

Hey all,

I heard a rumor some time back that basicaly said that there had been a lawsuit or something that forced Fox to either officialy cancel and revert the rights back to Joss, or to pick the show back up again, at the start of September.

I've not been able to ever find anything else about it and I wondered was it just one of those things, was there any fact behind it, etc?
