Hi all. I'm new here. I've been watching Firefly since it premiered, but just haven't been on this site that long. I just thought I'd pop out and say "hi."

I think out of them all, my favorite episode has been "Bushwacked." I love all three so far (the most recent two more than "The Train Job") and find the show wonderful. My favorite characters are Kaylee, Jayne, and Wash. To me, they're the ones I can relate to the most...which I've just decided makes me sound insane.

I'm kind of sad that it won't be on this week because of baseball, but at least we'll all get to see it next week, right?

Well, I'll let y'all go now.

Have you done a search at TVGuide.Com? You can search schedules a week ahead there, and people often find another air time for shows like this.

Well, the "Jaynestown" previews said "All New Firefly in two weeks"...so I'm pretty much going by the idiot announcer. But I have to say, that announcer must be rich. He does the teaser previews for just about every single thing they preview on TV. I'll check out the TV Guide site, though, just in case. Thanks.

Welcome and enjoy your stay.

As for Firefly being pre-empted by baseball, I'd rather see Firefly but since I'm a baseball fan it's almost the best of both worlds. Almost.

Have a good one!

Thank you. I like playing baseball, but not watching it so I'm more or less on the fence. I'm just happy that I have two episodes of Firefly on Tape so I'll be watching that...and Absolutely Fabulous. At least next week's episode is looking very good.

Well I have the first three on tape so far. Might as well watch them again. But, as for baseball, I only watch the World Series, if even that.

Hi, just so happens I'm new here too, well I guess you aren't that new any more, but hey, four days can be long or short. (It said the 10th, right?).
I've spent all of five short minutes looking for a line for newbies to pick up, this is the closest I've found. I thought it'd be nice to say hi somewhere, and this seemed as good a place as any.
Any way, nothing wrong with sounding insane (the comment about relating to the characters). Apparently I am, sometimes. By the way, Jayne is one of my favourites too (*cough* first favourite *cough*).
I don't think that I have a top episode yet, and unfortunately I missed chunks of the first one, but I've been happy so far.
There is going to be a new episode this friday right? *Sigh* Wait and see for me.
All I can think of to say now, I have homework to do. Bye to anyone who reads this.

Oh how I love sci-fi and anime. Okay, not as much as most people, but more then most people I know. Main ones? Firefly ('course), DA, SW, X-Files etc.

Hi! It's never too late to say hi or introduce yourself.

This week's episode is a new one called "Jaynestown." It's sure to be filled with lots of Jayne goodness. I'm really looking forward to it.

In my opinion, you didn't miss much in missing parts of "The Train Job." It just wasn't as good as the other two...in my opinion. It was still good, but not as good as the other two. If I remember right, "The Train Job" will repeat on Monday night...8 PM central time, I think. But I'm not 100% on that.

I *THINK* that the monday re-run was going to be this PAST Monday, the 14th, IF there was no game five of the NLCS. There was (CURSE the Cards for pushing it an extra game!!), and so there was no Firefly re-run.

Looking forward to this Friday's episode, and storing it on SVCD. Like the previous 3. :D

I just LOVE modern technology.

Kaylee, will you marry me?

You're right. It was, like, a week or two ago when I noticed it and my memory, well, sucks. But I'm sure they'll rerun "The Train Job" at some point in time. A.k.a. the black hole of time also known as primetime summer.

Yes. Good. Watch. Now.

And for those interested, of which I'm sure there are few, I do in fact normally talk in clear, full, grammaricly correct sentences.

Funny and/or insightful quote coming soon.

yeah, during that song, Wash looked like he would throw up any second and Simon's reaction was just a hoot!

Since we're all introducing ourselves here...
I'm from Germany and get to see FIREFLY through the <*cough, cough*> niceties of the internet. Thank God for it - otherwise I'm afraid I would have to wait ages to get it on German TV (can you believe they still haven't started airing ENTERPRISE over here????? But I get to see this, too )

I think FIREFLY the best show around for ages! Although not a comedy it has made me laugh like nothing before.
Nathan Fillion is just adorable - I always had a thing for Han Solo... but I was too young then... So, I just go and drool over his heir ยด

"niceties of the internet" huh? Sounds like me when I tried to get some episodes of Sailor Moon. That sucks that they haven't started to show Firefly where you live (or Enterprise for that matter).

"I live in Canada eh." *hehe*

"I always had a thing for Han Solo" - Go Star Wars! ... Wrong forum. *smiles* Same here, but I'm more of a Young Obi-Wan girl.

...And back to Firefly. I still haven't brought myself to taping over that episode, though I try not to get too attached to shows I record. I need the space.

I haven't been able to check up on it, so can anyone tell me what the next episode is about?
*Hoping to read about it, before friday*
It'll be appreciated. Bye...

I'm glad to know I'm not the only Han fan around here.

Jayne: Time for some thrilling heroics.

Wash: Every man there go back inside or we will blow a new crater in this little moon.
