I believe it is a Japanese tradition to send a messenger in the wake of any news regardless of the consequence. Some special social rank was applied to the messanger whereas he would have a neutral social status devoid of the ups and downs of negative social graces. Pretty much they were kept folks whose sole purpose in life was to be a neutral go between in most settings. Defacing a messanger is considered to be an insult to the message sent and the sender.

Not to say we should shove a broken tequilla bottle in his face, but some good old fashioned monkey like poo flingin' could suffice.

I have the urge to beat to death one of my co-workers with his own genitals when he gets back from holiday. It's a long story but shan't go into it here.

Hey Emma, both are outpatient procedures so no overnight stay and they're trying to send me to the Bupa hospital on the NHS choice public/private partnership thing as the waiting time is something like a third! Having said that, they wanted to do the same for my endoscopy and I'm off to the Royal so we will see!

I would offer for bouncer duties Emma but unfotunately don't have the necessary bulk and attitude for intimidation.
