So I finally got around to ordering the boxed set and the Serenity CE from Amazon. When I did so, I realized that they've gone up in price. The boxed set used to be $25, now it's $40. Could this be good news... or bad? I don't know. Any thoughts?

Also, anyone heard any news on the series lately?

Raising the price means:
1. The DVD is selling so well, that they wanted each one to count more towards increasing sales.
2. They wanted sales to slow, because they realized they needed to make more DVD's.
3. Slow production now, so they can have more in stock come the holidays.
or
4. They hate us. (probably not)

I think it's a good thing (mainly since I already bought mine), 'cause usually when something costs a bit more, it's recognized as having better quality (which it most definitely has).

Just my 4 cents.

I don't want to get any one's hope up (I'm having a hard enough time keeping my in check) but there have been several indicators like this.

- Serenity CE comes out
- Prices go up
- Fox creates Firefly Forum
- Fox claims down on video rights with youtube

Maybe this means nothing more than Fox wants more money... than again maybe it means something is in the works...
