Well, that's good to hear. Now you just have to watch out for the trains and the rest of the swag. Are you moving far? Or just to a bigger place in the same area.

Yep. I think the people you hang out with always have an impact on you whether you think they do or not. This guy probably hangs out with his girl a lot. So, I'd say she has a pretty big impact on him.

"Hugging at the ball is strictly prohibited", ha ha ha.

Anyhoo, back in from a long weekend. Seems a good one despite the crap.

On the Evil Empire *coughStarbuckscough* Coffee thing, I rarely take in caffine with a ton of sugar. I had some wussy caramel frappacino dealy with whipped cream on top. All I wanted was a cup of black coffee but Johns woman decided to get me somethinf special, diabetic shock. After gambling for a few minutes we ate lunch with his mom and I felt better. NO MORE FRILLY COFFEE DRINKS!!!

That is about it. Shot a great game yesterday and actually had fun.

Paintball, not golf right? Glad you had some fun over the weekend. Me.. I think I'm just too old to get back into playing paintball. Golf, on the other hand, is an old mans sport.

John is five years older than me and mentioned that we need to play a slow easy game because all the littlr Halo fags seems to just rush in randomly looking for kills. We had actuall held together and methodically killed off a squad twice our size and held against a weak side assault of five on two. Might have been a little more of a fight had I not ran out of air. 200% kill ratio ain't bad, but there were five and seven hundred days last season. Seems adjusting to the tactics of the younger players might take a small bit of time. But it is sooo much fun to see them moving quickly to get in my line of fire.

There is Steve who owns a small store called Stalker Paintball in town who is in his mid sixties who comes out with his younger son and friend who is fifty nine. Not that they are the fastest, but Steve scored two barrel tags on my squad while playing at Herbies PB field in Fernley. Definately one I strive to trade shots with, he is the reason why I want to stay in a relative amount of shape to keep shooting. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to tee off some Sunday morning and use what little finesse I do have on such a great game. But I also figure playing hard while still having the chance is something I gotta do before that inevitable time I gotta trade back my guns for clubs.

Sounds like a fun weekend game. I loved the time that our core group of players just absolutly decimated an army group once every single game. Was a blast picking them up as they went from tree to tree.

Quick, painless and meaningful. I donno, like giving my own life to save another. More in depth then that I'm not sure if I'd want to speculate and ruin the surprise.

However, not until a ripe old age.

'mornin'. I'ze on vacation (Fall break -- the reward of public school teachers here starting the school year so f*&^$#@!_!@#)(*&^%$# early.)
So...while Jimi wants it to be Thursday already, I want to rewind and slow it down a bit more. (I got a geek for the week -- yay! wish I could keep my geek...*sigh*).

NVG: see above for my bit of *yum*.

MsG and MrG: It's worse...I so *heart* my geek, but I can't keep my geek.

I'm playing host this week so this is a naughty (I'm not supposed to be up so late doing this) post.

If I could control my death and funeral, I'd like to die after living a long life filled with few regrets. I'd want my funeral to be either a) a large family and friends shindig celebrating my life and the fact that life goes on, or b) quiet and simple, with a few words and those whose lives I've touched celebrating the fact that life is good.

Okay, it's gorramn early where I am (nearly 2:30) and I've got a ton to do before I wake up.

See you folks later.

ETA: Jimi -- wondering about the "cheaters" bit at the Bar & Grill....pm me if you like. 10q.

Well the way I'd probably like to die is that running the car in the garage thing. Fall asleep and then it's all over. However, since I'm perfectly capable of doing that at any time I guess the answer is "no, I wouldn't choose my own death".

Mornin' folks. In a discussion on unarmed boarder guards (yes, even unarmed National Guard troops, yeesh) elsewhere. Not much for the subject of death right now, but was miffed on other things.

Dying: Preferably alone somewhere clinical. Don't want family to remember such things.

Funeral: I always say party with the lights on, but funeral parlors are mostly against it. Dang.

NEKO!!! Havin' fun on Fall break I hope. Too bad there ain't more time and money. I'd come and have a drink (or ten) with ya's. Hugs.

Well that would take care of the "quick" part but I'm not so sure about the painless. I guess that's what the morphine is for.

The one way I really don't want to go is drowning or strangulation. Seems there's a good bit of pain at the end what with the spasms and flailing about. So, I vote no to dying that way.

Anyone ever see the frozen bodies they cut small slices out of from head to toe? They took pictures of every layer and mapped the whole human body with the pics.

Instead with a live human taking pictures of their face after shwing them the layer they just cut away. Now that to me would be a horrible death.

That or having to sit through Spice Girls ever again. Not really sure which would be worse.

A Spice Girls concert? Now that could be an increadibly painful death. The movie, however, was actually pretty funny. Of course the alcohol I've had before I ever watch it probably helps :).

worst death: drawn and quartered while alive. ugh.

So on to more cheery semi-related topics: How would you like your wake/funeral to be?

Me, I'd want it to be a massive good time party. Don't weep, celebrate life!

hmmm worst death... far as I know would be death by torture...can last days and involve burning, stabbing, acid, and the like...

Funeral- hmm don't like those ..prefer a wake although I shall have to leave very specific instructions for the caterer...good food is essential!!!

HUGS NV..this is why we don't share coffee :)

HUGS Neko...oh I missed it earlier... how is break treating you? Soak it in and enjoy as it won't come again any time soon... don't even look to see how many days until Christmas... HUGS

"oh I have a good ponder...Can a relationship change your personality?? Have a friend who was always a really great guy and then he met this woman...and now he's kind of an ass...so was it the relationship or something else??"

I think that relationships are so complex for the most part, that people adapt to the easiest common denominator, to be more compatible and make the person "like me more". Like with my wife, I was a shy, quiet nerd type before we met. Now, I'm a shy quiet nerd type with better style and more common sense(and a better diet!)
So, my guess is that the people who he is around now(she and her friends) have a different way of relating and that happens to be to the negative. He has turned to the dark side and has regressd to high school. His loss.

I think sometimes a relationship can indeed cause some changes, maybe not in total personality, but perhaps in attitude.

Mornin' imponderables...

Imponderable: have you ever had your brain switch on early in the morning, and found yourself unable to fall back asleep even though said brain isn't dealing with any issues that are really that important or stressful?

Man I hate when that happens.

Since I deprive myself of sleep on a daily basis, it hasn't happened a lot recently. I have experienced that before, though. Been too excited or anxious to fall back asleep.

I'm not an insomniac so much as I am just trying to get things done. If I actually slept 8 hours a night, I wouldn't ever be able to finish anything.
