I've been playing around over at Hey!Nielsen. It's a little addictive.
In order for Firefly and Serenity to maintain their status, they need daily activity. I try to stop by each day and post a comment or agree with what someone else said.
Our BDHs aren't doing too bad either. Well, except for poor Jewel Staite. Seems there are some SG:A fans who are a little resentful of her -- and don't have kind things to say.
If you have a few minutes, stop over there and put in a good word. Oh, and don't feed the trolls.
It's actually quite fun.

This is actually Nielsen's attempt to enter the 21st Century, and, to recapture their waning credibility. As such, it is being keenly observed by the entertainment industry, after half a century of stale metrics.

It works by measuring the "Pulse," or, visibility profile, of shows, movies, personalities, etc. Aside from monitoring web activity form outside the site (including, if I am not misinformed, Diggs), Hey Nielsen! allows for posting of opinions, as well as rating those opinions. Every time an opinion is posted or commented on, it increases the "Pulse" of the subject.

So, it's worth going there, registering, and at least rating every (positive) opinion on Firefly, Serenity, and, each of our BDHs and other cast and crew as you may find.
