Daggnabbit!

The meet-up is scheduled for May 1st at 2:00. I couldn't have received this before last night when my friend roped me into being a guide at her house for the Twin Cities home tour on May 1st, 2:00 - 5:00?

"Damifino. I woke up this morning throwing up stuff I don't even remember eating. (Sniffle, cough, choke!) Oh, God. So, (sniffle) I went back to bed figuring I'd be okay by noon, but I still feel like warmed over death (ughhh)..."

"Well, you get back to bed this instant! We'll manage somehow; the important thing is you getting better. And turn your television down some. I don't know how you're supposed to get any sleep with all that racket in the background."

(Voice shouts in background: "Ohmigod, Morena's passing out autographed lingerie!")

(Knibblet): "Okay. Well gotta go now. Love ya', bye." (click!)

Brilliant plan, zoid. As Paint-a-Thon is always the first weekend of August ... perhaps I should begin working on my 'gag on command' now?

As much as I'd love to shag off the home tour and go to the Firefly meetup, Browncoats always meet their obligations.

If only I'd received the email BEFORE the phone call.

Depends where you live, DRE.

Go to http://firefly.meetup.com/members/ and sign up. If there are 5 or more people registered for your city who vote for a meetup place, they'll notify you where to meet by email.

Firefly meetups are always the first Saturday of the month at 2 pm, so if you miss the next one, you can always go the following month.
