OK Here is the deal...
I went to the video store tonight waiting to see a great movie when I picked up disk one of the complete season of FIREFLY. I was hooked after the first ten seconds of the show, and I am dead serious. I saw the recomendation for the show at PVPonline.com, the home of the greatest webcomic ever, and when I saw it at the store I couldn't help myself. Even after seeing the first four episodes I feel that some head honcho at FOX should be givin 40 lashes for the cancelation, I mean everyone here know how crushed Mr. Whedon was when they canceled the show, and I can't imagine that FOX even gave it a second thought. The only thing now that I can reassure myself about is the fact that there are 3 more discs of the show to watch and the fact that I have faith that people like you and me will buy enough of the complete third season on DVD that somebody will have to air the show again, be it the Sci-Fi chanel or some other network. Untill this happens and my dream of more Firefly is fulfilled I will just have to keep on posten' threads on this site and shoot the crazy people at FOX untill they DANCE!!!!!

I am assuming you meant first season, not third. Cos if you did mean third then you are not watching Firefly!

Joss is currently working on a big damn movie due to air in 2005. Until then I recommend regular viewings of your dvds, regular attendance at this site and full participation in the conversion of the general masses.

As wren said there's a movie of the show on the way so we've still got plenty to look forward to. Until then Id recommend buying the dvd and then taking the episodes in slowly or a least thats what Id do now I think.

Yeah, I meant the first season because the video store is renting the discs seperatly, a little bit of a rip if you ask me. I do however have one burning question, how do you guys get those little thumbnail images next to your name?
(I know its very sad but I just can't find out how, please don't mane me like a reaver would!)

Go to the main http://www.fireflyfans.net page and click "My Firefly" near the top right. Then click "Edit Profile" under Member Options. You'll be able to set your thumbnail image ("avatar") from there.

If you want an avatar picture other than the 20 choices provided, you can e-mail it to the admin at haken@fireflyfans.net and he'll set it up for you.
