Hmm but a one pound cube of what??? Because that kind of variable can really alter your calculations because weights and measures of items are different. A pound of feathers weights more than a pound of gold because of the difference in weighing system...

Okay, so down and dirty: Ol' Dirty Bastard. Good guy mode: Mighty Mouse. But the truth of the matter is I am a Matt Murdoch sort of character. Not the Ben Ass-face portrayal in the flick, but more the Frank Miller Daredevil: Man Without Fear Sort. Someone with plenty of reason to be a villian but sides with the light even if it requires facing the demons in their own darkness. Of all the comic heroes he seems to be the most attainable. Of course there is always the bike riding demon sort, but that ain't exactly a human portrayal now is it?

Hrmmm, alter ego? To use Firefly characters (so I don't have to think too hard at the moment), alter ego would sometimes be Saffron, sometimes Kaylee...depends on the day.

Gosh, that makes me sound VERY split-personality-ish. I'm not...but some days I play the girl next door, some day I play the villan, so I have to have two alter egos. Capiche?

msg: Orion is maybe 15.3? All I know is that when I jump off of him, I slam my feet into the ground because I'm used to hopping off of Show. O has typical Thoroughbred withers which are about four inches higher than his back. He's a good guy and pretty comfortable up to 3'...after that it gets to be a bit of a struggle.

Now, I know my famous answer could make me rich, but what kind of person would I be if I got rich off of a cure that was only available to those who have the money?

And really, fame is wha tyou make it. While I do feel sorry for some actors, the celebutantes are mostly doing it to themselves. There are plenty of actors that aren't in the gossip rags or aren't being stalked by paparazzi. It's a choice about how you live and how you present yourself. Some of the top actors/celebrities (Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston, etc) have less choice, but the likes of Paris Hilton, Nicole Ritchie, Lindsay Lohan, etc do have a choice. They choose to present themselves to the public that way...wanting the attention when they want it, but not when they don't. It doesn't work like that, unfortunately.

Why does IT do an upgrade and not warn everyone? (Came into new software at 7am with no warning.)

Why are co-workers so annoying?

Why can't adults figure out how to use the freakin' phone book to look up the number for a physician? They had to look up my number to call me for the number of a doctor that is 150 miles away from me. If I can find it with no phone book, certainly they can find it with one.

I think I need to go find a corner to sit in today. Or maybe find something to rant about on my blog on myspace. That usually puts me in a good mood.

Ha there are plenty.

Easiest one off the bat is slightly unsettling love of Joss Whedon. All the Firefly, Serenity parites, the Firefly marathon at the drafthouse, the 10 episodes of buffy starting at 11pm thing at the drafthouse, all the can't stop the Serenity screenings, the Serenity prescreenings, the Firefly showings in the back of a coffe house, the Firefly/Buffy comics and soon to be Angel comics, etc.

Then there's how cheap I am about most things. Constantly checking slickdeals for cool things on sale. Keepings a tally sheet of times I skip going out to lunch and put the money away toward a wii game or something else I want. I think I just have a weird issue about spending money on me. I just always feel like "I didn't really need that".

My "anti-social"ness. I weigh going out pretty poorly compared to staying home most of the time. Unless there's a girl involved I usually don't see the opportunity cost being in favor of going out. I mean most of going out just seems like killing time to me. "Let's all go to a club with loud music where we can't talk and stand around and grow older together! YAY!!". Um...no thanks.

I'd say those are among my top three.

oh oh I also don't get traveling. "Hey look the statue of liberty!" Um yeah I've seen pictures and seen it in movies. Heck it's actually smaller than I thought it would be in real life. Booooring.

Mine is honestly the opposite. Con weekends are my favorite, or even Shindig weekends. Getting to hang out with other fans, the shooting each other, the drinking, in general the comraderie from hanging out with other Browncoats is what I like. I like to get my rest/down time on the weekdays, or not at all.

hmmm glad to see we're back

Well for Rugbug's question I have so many it's hard to choose, but I'd say the big one is cleaning my house and such not because I want it clean, but if I get killed I don't want the forensic people making nasty comments ( and believe me they do) about my cleanliness...plus it super hard to tell evidence from crap when there's a mess.

as for Jimi's question- my favorite weekend would be half spent having fun with friends and half spent playing with the babies and hanging out with my family...

I think my best weekends are a balance of doing and not doing.

Best Saturday: sleeping in. (I LOVE to sleep). Going running. Going to barn and riding one or two horses. Do some barn busy work (clean tack, organize tack room, clean water buckets etc). Head home. Clean up the house. Shower. Go window shopping. Pick up dinner. Come home and watch a movie or some BtVS or Firefly or somesuch.

Best Sunday: Sleep in. Run. Ride. Go home. Shower...and spend the rest of the day lounging in my clean house...doing whatever it is I might want to do.

Neko...if it was really worth it...anywhere on earth!
Definitely would want to do some visiting and such to make sure, but ends of the earth is not too far for a great relationship:) HUGS and vicarious geek hugs! eeew the icky of state testing...nothing like hours of prep just so you can sit in utter silence for many many days only to be judged :) Not fairly judged mind you. The test scores compare the scores of this years students to the scores of students from last year...so apparently we teachers can make each new batch of students smarter than the last...who knew we had super powers?

Hmmm sorry no good movies and if trailers are to be believed no real plans for any good movies any time soon...sigh.

Rugbug- I'd so love to go running with you, but I'm betting with your long legs you'd outpace me quickly... :) I can ride really well though:)

Well there's definitely more info needed for that question. Like if I was married to someone and they had a great job opportunity in Japan of course I'd move to stay with them and be all supportive and stuff. However, in the situation you're talking about with moving in order to start a relationship I'd have to say no where.

I mean there's no way to know if the relationship would last longer than 2 weeks and the added pressure of moving couldn't possibly help things. Then anything else that goes wrong is subconsciously the other person's fault. "I can't find a good job here and it's all your fault cause I moved for you" type of stuff. You also have the pressure of having no other friends in the area so it's like 24/7 focus on each other. That's not healthy for a new relationship. Gotta have other friends and other hobbies to give each other a break sometimes.

I think you need to stick with logic on this one. I know that the sparkage of a new relationship is like crack and all, but even if you move sparks don't last. You might get lucky and it will start a fire, but just don't let the sparks blind you and make you do something you'll regret.
